At Sheffield Physiotherapy, we are dedicated to providing top-tier physiotherapy treatments that cater to a wide range of conditions and injuries.
Specialist Physio Treatments
Our goal is to help you achieve optimal health and wellness, whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve your overall physical performance.
Your comfort, goals, and progress are at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with you throughout your treatment journey.
Personalised Treatment Plans
We believe that every individual is unique, and so are their physiotherapy needs. Our experienced therapists create customised treatment plans tailored to your specific requirements.
We stay at the forefront of physiotherapy practices, incorporating the latest techniques and technologies to provide you with the best possible outcomes.
Theraflex (bionic mobilisation)
Theraflex treatment is a form of bionic mobilisation for the spine. It gives the physiotherapist the ability to progressively restore movement of the spine wherever it has become restricted, relaxing tight muscles and helping to relieve trapped nerves.
IDD Therapy (spinal decompression)
IDD Therapy is the number one non-invasive spinal disc treatment, for people suffering with back or neck pain which has proved challenging to improve with standard physiotherapy, osteopathy or chiropractic treatment.
CS1 Shockwave is a cell level treatment that promotes healing and reduces pain. The treatment involves directing intense pressure pulses into the body at the site of the pain and injury. It is ideal for treating challenging tendon and ligament injuries, as well as long-standing spinal pain.
MLS Laser Therapy
Therapeutic Laser when applied to inflamed or damaged tissues helps to accelerate the body’s natural healing process making it an ideal treatment for sports injuries.
Magneto-Pulse is particularly effective for healing bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It is an optimal treatment choice for conditions like osteoporosis and fibromyalgia. Additionally, it can significantly reduce recovery times for bone and soft tissue injuries.
MRI Referral & Review
Sit with a Physiotherapist who will review and explain your MRI images and discuss your best treatment options. We can also refer to a Sheffield Based 1.5T MRI (magnetic resonance image) at the English Institute of Sport (EIS). If you self-refer EIS will charge you the same fee as our referral costs without offering a review of the MRI report and images.
We understand that recovery is not just about treating symptoms but about enhancing your overall quality of life. Our team is committed to supporting you every step of the way, from initial assessment to full recovery and beyond.
How long are the sessions?
We offer a free 20-minute Telehealth Consultation
Follow up physiotherapy treatment: 30, 45 and 60 minute physiotherapy sessions are available dependent on the condition and treatment required.
Are you approved by Westfield and Simply Health?
Yes, all our physiotherapy treatments are covered by both Westfield and Simply Health.
I’ve previously had physiotherapy, osteopathy or chiropractic and it didn’t work, is it still worth having treatment?
A large number of our clients have previously had treatment which has not been fully successful. Our approach focuses on treating the causes of the condition and the restoration of normal biomechanics. Experience has taught us that the body has tremendous healing potential and that once mechanical over-strain is reduced the tissues will begin to heal.
“Changed my life”
Our clinic is not just about providing immediate treatment; it’s about building a lifetime of trust and maintaining a comprehensive record of your health journey. We keep detailed records of your progress, adapting our treatments as your needs evolve. This long-term approach helps us ensure continuity of care and lasting health benefits, and the results speak for themselves.
